When Target approached us to help them create a fall fashion event for 2012, we saw it as an opportunity to do something even bigger. By seamlessly blending traditional, event, and digital marketing, we created “Falling for You,” a shoppable, branded content film that culminated in a live event in New York City. The film stars Kristen Bell, Nia Long, and Zachary Abel, and was released in three short episodes in the weeks prior to the event. During every scene of the film, viewers can simply click and drop items such as characters’ entire wardrobes, accessories, cosmetics, and more into a cart for immediate purchase any time during or after the movie. With our help, Target became the first retailer to create a shoppable video with an uninterrupted viewing experience, and proved themselves as a leader at the intersection of style and technology.
